Pst...I have two new followers to welcome!! Hi Ellie and Sandra!! I hope you enjoy your stay!!

Once upon a time, I lived in Brazil

It's true!!

I'm not lying, I swear

My parents were there as mission presidents for our church

The mission president is the one that tries to take care of all the missionaries in a certain region. 

200something 19-21 year old boys? No thank you!!

I'll take the 21-23 year old girls instead. :)

Anyway, when they went down I went to live with them

I'm sure in great part it was to cure me of my crazy, wild, teenage ways ;)

And it worked. I grew up a lot and matured a lot while I was down there

The fact that I have lost that maturity since then does NOT count. :)

Anyway, there would be times that I would get bored, so I got on MSN Instant Messenger and bothered talked to Peach while she was at work

We would talk...I would say things that made her "lol" me...we would "lol" each other...we had quite fun

Or I did anyway...I think she did too...?

This continued on for quite a few months

She put up with me enjoyed bonding with me every day just about...except when we were traveling about the mission

Finally one day we were talking and I said something that made her "lol" me again

I said something like this: "Do you really laugh out loud when you type lol?"

P: "Sometimes. :)"

Me: "Hmmm...we should come up with something for when we DON'T laugh out loud...like....laugh...what's the opposite of out loud? In quiet? THAT'S IT!!!! LAUGH IN QUIET!! liq liq liq liq"

Peach, if I got the story wrong, please forgive me :)

So it became our thing for a really long time

I went on my mission, kind of forgot about it, and then one day long after I came home I read something she wrote, but I couldn't laugh out loud because I was at work and all of the sudden it popped in my head "liq!!"

So...for my birthday this year she gave me this:

She said this was the closest she could find with LIQ on it and I loved it

But after that it got me to thinking how I wished I could find a way to get her a mug that said LIQ...but I knew I would never find one...

So I thought and thought and thought and thought...

And all of the sudden it hit me

I could make her one!!

There's this place you can go to called Color Me Mine that's really cool!!

They make all different types of pottery, and then let you paint them however you want, then they fire it for you and you go pick it up all finished!!

I'm not creative in anyway, but I love it so I told Boyfriend that we were going there and making her and I each one for our date night

And this is what we did

That one is Peach's

And that one is mine. :)

It was lots of fun and I'm glad I have Boyfriend to go with me so I don't have to force my friends with me anymore

Sickness

I like to collect mugs

Not just ANY mugs though...

Disney mugs.

*phew* I feel better getting that off my chest


I don't know when my obsession with mugs started, but I'm pretty sure I know why. See, I have four older sisters. FOUR!!


That's a lot of pressure for the youngest girl in the family...


I had a lot of expectations to live up to....and a lot of coolness to follow 


And trust me. My sisters? They're VERY cool!!


Anyway, I remember a time when I want to say all, or almost all, of my sisters collected mugs


And me, wanting to be like them, thought it would be pretty cool.


And come on, who doesn't like a good mug?


It didn't really take off right away because I was young, poor, didn't have a job...and I don't think Mama Smurf would have been so cool if every five minutes I said "Mom, will you buy me that mug? Mom, will you buy me that one too? And how bout that one?"


She knew I liked them, so every once in a while she would buy me one, or my sisters would not want one anymore, or give me one, etc


The fun REALLY started the first time I went to Disneyland as an actual adult who could pay her own way


It was like a whole new world had opened up to me!! I could buy what I wanted to and not feel bad for usurping my parents money


I don't remember everything that I bought...I think I went a little crazy though. First time at Disneyland without the Padres?

But I remember seeing these:

And it was love at first site. 


I couldn't decide which ones to get, so naturally I bought all of them. :)


And then we went back the next year and I found this one:

I fell in love immediately. 


Eeyore, purple...what more could a girl want?


I think there were a few others in the set, but I was just going to buy one that time...being very disciplined cause I figured they'd have them again.


Unfortunately, I still haven't been able to get my hands on the others.


One day...

This one I got using my reward points from all the Disney movies I buy

Mary Poppins is one of my ALL time favorite movies, so I was very very excited


Then, I found...


THE DISNEY STORE!!!!

I still prefer to buy from Disneyland...because it's more exciting and an adventure, but...

These were too cute to pass up!!


Then I found one of my most FAVORITE collection:

They're just so fun!!!!


There's one more mug that I don't have it...of Jack from The Nightmare Before Christmas


But Mr Boss Man is going in January and he said he'll get it for me if they have it :)


People are good to me!!

Then Becca went to Disneyland without me so I made her get me something new

And then...

Boyfriend got me this for my birthday:

I have this thing against uncompleted sets...


I don't do them very well


So I went and bought the other two


When I saw Grumpy I got so excited!!

I have never seen a mug with him before!!

Then I saw these and fell head over heels in love and HAD to have them:

Aren't they so cute?!


They had another set at the D. Store the same time they had this one that had stars on it...but I couldn't get both sets cause they each had 4 mugs...and now I can't find them anymore :(

Most recent one I saw at the store and loved is this:

There are two more in the set but I was buying a Christmas present for Boyfriend while I was at the mall, so I couldn't justify it. But I'll be going back!!

That, obviously, isn't Disney.

But I love that mug anyway


It has a special meaning behind it...I'll explain tomorrow


I made it (Boyfriend helped) and I'm very proud of it

This is not ALL of the mugs I own...but I think most of what I have actually bought myself


And the most recent for sure


Now the only problem I see with this is...there are 23 Disney cups...which means I'm going to have to fix that...soon...
