Hi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm just sitting here at work waiting for Mr. Boss Man to come and tell me that we don't have any more room and I can't plant anything else

Which, really, is fine with me because then I won't be in charge of the "planting crew" and I can do my own thing and they can do their own thing

Even if that means going to hang out at the new store, I'd totally be okay with that

Did you know we sell baby chicks now? It's true, we do

And I've decided they're adorable as babies

Just not so much as adults...

Which makes me hope really hard that we sell them all before we have to decide with the what to do with them

We had one the other day that was really sad and hurt, because everyone else was picking on it and the lady who is in charge of the chicks didn't think it would survive

Which meant we had to put it out of it's misery

(why does the word misery look weird?)

None of us girls could do it...it was way too much

So I found the boys that work in the back with me and asked them if they could stomach it

One of them finally volunteered and as he did the dirty deed I ran over to stand by Peach so I wouldn't have to watch or hear

And the thing that irked me the most? The boys were laughing and mocking the situation the whole time the one was doing it

I get that they're young and immature, I just wish they hadn't been so...retarded about it

And then when I told them to tape the box up in case an animal got into or something, they looked at me like I was going senile

Whatever!! I'm just trying to be a good little girl

Ummm...I wanted to say thank you to those of you who wished me a happy birthday, I appreciate it :)

And with that, I must wish you all a fond farewell

I think Mr. Boss Man is back and Boyfriend just got here with my treat, so I have to go find him and snarf down my treat say hello

I hope you all are having a fabulous Tuesday!!

Tell Mr. Boss Man that I'm getting mighty tired of you being too tired/not having time to do posts. I'm missing them. Badly. :(

Chicks are the cutest. When I was a kid my neighbor had a bunch of them that I loved visiting.
Sad that the guys were kind of making fun of the situation though.

I agree. As cute as babies.
But why WHY did one have to die!!??!! It was horrible just reading about it! I can't imagine having to be there. :( :( :( So sad!!! Did they smash it? How could ANYone kill a baby animal?!? Ok, maybe a baby spider or even a baby snake (although, personally snakes don't bother me), but a baby CHICK?!? ugh. so so sad. so sad.

Baby chicks are adorable as babies. Just as babies.

PS Tell boyfriend I'm sorry I called him "Jason! Jason!" But we still need to talk.

Chicks?! I'm so jealous. I think chicks are the cutest things ever, although I agree that as they get older...not so cute. Kind of like how I feel about cats. I love them as kittens but as full grown cats? No thanks!!

We have baby chicks now. And I too hate the dirty deed of making life/death bearable sometimes. I usually call my daddy to come to the rescue cuz it breaks my heart to take care of things.
I am glad you had a nice birthday.
This week I am starting my tomatoes and peppers from seeds. There will be others too but to early for them. We don't get to put anything into the ground until the end of May so no since in hurrying yet.
Take care Amanda and have a great day. God Bless you my dear.
