Awesome, lame, PICKLES!

I don't really have anything to say this week...

Which is why I didn't post on Monday or Tuesday

Wednesday I didn't have time

Thursday I was sick on my couch most of the day with a migraine and nausea

Today I'm still a little bleh...but at least I'm at work instead of half sitting/half sprawling on the couch at home...

So, today is just going to be full of random ramblings...

Like how I wish the people that I work with aka my family would be OCD in ways that I am OCD...

Take the light switches, for example

I feel like the main light switches should be down when the lights are off and up when the lights are on

And I'm sure to them it's just a convenience thing and they flip the switch where they are

But it really bugs me when the switches are the wrong way...especially when it's a whole row of switches and only one of them is off

Sometimes I'm in a big hurry so I just let it slide

Other times I'll take my time and fix them

I know, I'm pretty sad

And I'm pretty sure my family will now think I'm even more pathetic than they already do

Oh well

The truth was bound to come out sooner or later

Remember how I said we sell fish?

Well I open the store every morning (except my day off, of course) and part of my job assignments is to feed the fish

Is it sad that feeding them reminds me of spicing a dish?

Sometimes I have an out of body moment and pretend I'm a famous chef in a 6-star restaurant (yes, that is how awesome I am)

And I'm throwing in some thyme and oregano and basil...

And then I get splashed by one of the fishes with their dirty water and the wet, nasty reality comes back full force

I am so far from being a 6-star chef it's not even funny

The other day I was on Facebook...or Pinterest, one of the two, and saw an image that was being passed around that had a quote from one of the actors on One Tree Hill and it made me wonder if the screenwriters ever feel slightly jaded and unrecognized

I'm sure there are some that don't, but there might be a few out there that do

And it made me wonder how it would be if we had their names by the quotes instead of the actor/actress who said them

"First you were all like "woah", and we were like "woah!!" and you were like "woah..."

What are you talking about?

You, mini-man, taking on the jellies. You've got some serious thrill issues dude!!"

...I was going to say instead of Albert Brooks and Andrew Stanton (aka Marlin and Crush) it would say Andrew Stanton, Bob Peterson, and David Reynolds

Hmmm

Looks like I picked a poor example

Oops

Oh well, you get my point

One last thing

I got an email telling me that today is the 25th anniversary of Where's Waldo and to celebrate the Empire State Building is going to light up in red, white, and blue

And my first thought was: "Seriously?? I'm older than Waldo?? How is that even possible??"

I seriously thought Waldo had been around longer than that

Apparently not

In honor of Waldo's birthday, I was going to do another Where's Waldo, but....

I don't have any that I haven't already done

Guess that means I'll have to order a new book

One more one last thing

I have to change the name of my blog

Now that I'm becoming Mrs. Fiance, it's not just my little corner of the blog world

It's our little corner

Also? Fiance doesn't speak Spanish

So I should probably come up with something in English

I know, incredibly boring

But it's not just about me anymore

Which means I need to change my design again

A new chapter of my life is beginning soon, so I think it's only fair for the blog to have a new look and a new name

Lots of changes coming up

I don't want to leave you without any pictures...

That would just break all of the rules of the blog that is mine

Not speaking of which, I don't think Fiance has written on the blog since he has become Fiance....I'll have to work on that

Okay, I'm off in search of a picture to post on this here post...

Ask and I shall receive!! :)

My niece was drawing something that she told me was a surprise

And that surprise was for me

A few minutes later she told me she was writing me a note and that it was in Spanish

Wow!!

Who knew I had such a talented niece!!

I'd say she was a prodigy

So, here's this note:

She's just amazing :)

I get to go to a bachelorette party for one of my very good friends tonight who is getting married 2 months and 2 days before me

Crazy!!

So, I have to go get all prettied up and girled up

So, I'm going to let Fiance end this post.

Fiance random ending: So this is my two cents.
I would like to point out that I hate the heck out of politics and would like to never hear another word about any piece of government. There's not many things in this world that I don't like but this happens to be a subject that I cannot stand. When baby sister talks to me about politics I can only nod and say, "Whatever you say dear." I could not possibly care any less about it to be honest.
The only thing I hate more than politics is the complete MORONS that want to talk about it all the time and bash each other. As if there wasn't enough hate in this world, OH wait lets add more by making everyone despise each other by the fact that they like something about a portion in politics. I would rather die than argue over the things that some politician says they stand for. We all should know by now that they never have and never will live up to what they promise. If they get anywhere close to what they say it was by some major fluke.
This brings us to the current situation where we vote for a good guy that has made mistakes or we vote for an idiot that we have hated the entire time that he's been in office. I'm one that will always believe that voting for a president is like choosing between getting a root canal on every tooth in your mouth with no sedative or having screws drilled in each and ever bone in your body and being forced to endure the pain. It's up to each and every one of us to determine which of these would be the less painful but we have to choose one or the other there is no other options available to us.

Did you know that I like pickles? They're amazing. I do really like the ones that are super sour. You can feel your mouth pucker just thinking about them. I know you just felt it. Amazing right? I totally agree. ^-^

Always end on a good note and not a hateful or spiteful message.

Fiance out.

So sorry about the migraine-yuck! I totally agree about the light switches! Also, I am now craving a good pickle...seriously my mouth is watering! Extra brownie points for Fiance.

Mr. Fiance. I have been eating kosher dill spears the last few days like crazy. I wonder what that means?

This leaves me wondering where Waldo's been hiding all these years. He should come out of hiding and run for office.

you should double check your sentence about light switches, you put the word off twice.

I don't think you should change your blog to include your fiance. It's YOUR BLOG, right? Not both of yours. Keep some individuality. Don't change it just because you are getting married. I am rebelling against this change.

(I am saying this stuff because my fiancee wants to be more involved in my blog. My blog is a way for me to express what I want).
