Hi!!

Just a little note to say that I am officially caught up in blogs!!

Yay!! :D

Also, I lost a follower...and it's bugging me cause I can't figure out who. I hate that

But, I should be back more regularly now so no worries

I will share stories of what has happened in the past week

Believe me, a lot has happened. Good and bad

That is the time I went to bed last night. *sigh* Boyfriend is building a new computer for himself and got the supposedly last part for it yesterday and life was happy and hunky dory until he turned it on and nothing showed up on the monitor. How rude!! I'm blaming it on the monitor. Anyway, he gave up and I was getting ready to close up and go to bed when he got his second burst of energy and attacked (only semi-literally) his computer to figure out what the problem. Turns out his power supply didn't come with the right cord to connect to the mother board...bother. So he had to order an adapter to be able to connect it, and now the nice, pretty computer sits in the corner, sadly waiting for the cords to make it work and be happy.
Anyway, besides that I am having a better day than Monday, thank you for your considering words. :)
Oh, and in happy news, I just found out I'm going to be an aunt again. That makes one in August, one in October, and one in December. Crazy!! :)
Needless to say, I'm super tired and not really able to think straight...so if this is super jumbled, I'm sorry. :)
I will share updates on what has been going on recently...maybe tomorrow. Boyfriend started working on a project again for me that requires him on my computer, so a few nights a week will be devoted to that. But I am making great progress in catching up on your lives, so yay for that!! :)
Anyway, back to work I go. Have a good day!!

Comfort food anyone?

This is my favorite comfort food of all time (that I can afford on a regular basis and that I don't have to make...like Bajios or grilled cheese sandwiches with tomato soup) and whenever I'm stressed, sad, or anything like unto it I turn to this to help make the day better. Is it very healthy? No... And some days/weeks/months it can get very expensive...I try to not get them very often...but in the Spring it's harder not to turn to them.
Today is turning out to be one of those days, and it's going to be a long day....so I made a pit stop at the gas station on my way back to work after dropping something off at home for Mama Smurf. Hopefully it will help the day be a little more manageble.
So curious minds want to know, what's your comfort food??
Here's hoping your day is better than mine!!

New game

Did you know Boyfriend's eyelid twitches when you tap his nose?? I found that out tonight, and it is my new favorite game. :)
And, one last thing, I applied for and got accepted for my first credit card. :) I feel like a real adult now!!
Anyway, early day for me tomorrow and Boyfriend and I feel lousy, so I go sleep now. :) Have a good Saturday!!

I probably won't post much until I'm all caught up with blogs

Hairdy hair hair hair

I still really haven't had time to make an official return, but I wanted to give you something. I just got my hair cut and even though I hate posting pictures of myself, I love you enough to post one. If it comes out sideways, I'm sorry...my phone has been doing that automatically and I don't know how to get it to behave.
Anyway, I hope you're all behaving yourselves. :) I'm slowly catching up...Boyfriend was fixing the computer of a friend, so I haven't had a mouse or keyboard for the last few days really...just sporadically for brief intervals. But that's done now, so things should return to semi-normal. :)
I hope you are having good days...it's rainy here and that makes me happy. There's just something about rain that makes me at peace and happy. :)

I'm alive!!

Do you know what's a happy sight?

Logging in after a week and seeing that my followers didn't drop

Do you know what's slightly depressing??

Seeing over 300 blogs that are unread...it's a little bit daunting

The week was good...busy, but good

And the weekend was insane, but good

I turned into a lobster because Friday I didn't think sunscreen would be necessary...

Well Mr. Sun sure proved my wrong!!

But by Sunday it had turned into a tan...and the happy news is, any future sun seeking will just turn into a tan so that's happy :)

Sunday morning I woke up and started to get ready to go to church when all of the sudden a major migraine hit...needless to say I didn't go to church. I stayed home on the couch all day long sleeping 

I think it was my body telling me that I had worked too hard...too bad I can't just take a week off

Anyway, I'll post pictures tomorrow...I just wanted to tell you that I was alive and thanks for sticking around :)

And so it begins...

My month of hell has officially started

Of course you do...it's not like I've done that many posts recently...

Anyway, the other morning I woke up to this:

And, turns out, that's the last snow fall of the season (at least, that we know of)

It couldn't have better timing, what with it being May after all

Did you know that Mother's Day weekend is typically one of the busiest weekends of the year?

And this year won't be an exception, considering the terrible weather we've had in April

In fact, I suspect it will be the busiest May we've ever had because of the horribly weathered April

Don't get me wrong, I like rain...I just we had more than 5 sunny days

It makes growing plants really hard

Anyway, the point of this post is to tell you that I shall return...

And I really will catch up on your blogs, I just might not have a lot of time for the next week or two

I will try to pop in occasionally to say hi

Just don't forget about me this week...

Think of me so that I don't die of exhaustion or something like unto it
