I walked into the back office today to give out paychecks
And this is the conversation I walked in on:
Brother: "I shave on Saturday nights so that I'm clean shaven for Sunday."
Cousin: "I shave 3 times a week."
Me: "I make Boyfriend shave every day."
Peach: "Hubby shaved last night at 11:30."
Cousin: "I bet you make him shave every day."
Peach nodded her head...
Cousin: "Cause he's a cuddler...and that's required for cuddling."
Peach nodded her head again...
Then the conversation moved on to different topics and we were trying to figure out how to get this girl who used to work for us her last paycheck.
So then Cousin (we call him Primo...which is cousin in Spanish. Yes, I know, we're very original. :D ) said: "I told her the other day that love isn't real. It's a chemical imbalance to the brain."
Brother laughed and said "So millions of people in the world are chemically imbalanced?"
Primo: "And they call it love instead."
Peach: "I love my husband..."
Me: "Brother loves his Wife..."
Primo: "See, it's not love...it's this little thing that goes off in your brain that thinks it is."
Silly Primo...
Today I was watering the greenhouses (where we keep the plants 'till they're ready to sell...)
And this is what I saw:
The first bloom on the plant...I love seeing them!!
It's like seeing the first star that comes out at night
It's like taking the first bite into a chocolate covered strawberry
It's like cracking open the cover of a brand new book
It's like listening to the first track on a brand new CD
It's like the first fizz sound you hear when you open a soda for the first time
It's like seeing a newborn baby for the first time
It's like the first cut into a fresh watermelon
It's like eating the first slice of homemade bread right out of the oven
It's like walking into a shoe store and seeing the perfect pair of shoes
It's like meeting Boyfriend for the first time (what he said...)
It's like wearing that brand new outfit you bought for the first time
It's like Dazee's brand new purple white board
It's like...
It's like...
It's like...
Yeah...it makes me happy. :)
