Quotes and words

"Year: A period of three hundred and sixty-five disappointments."

- Ambrose Bierce

"There it was, hidden in alphabetical order."

- Rita Holt

"The difficulty lies, not in the new ideas, but in escaping the old ones, which ramify, for those brought up as most of us have been, into every corner of our minds."

- John Maynard Keyens

And the word of the day is:

bricolage: construction or something constructed by using whatever materials happen to be available

"Cooking with leftovers was bricolage --a dialogue between the cook and the available materials."

Hope you had a good Sunday.

Night!!

Love the quotes, but more importantly LOVE the word. I am a collector of words and that was what I didn't know. So thank you. Now, I'm going to have to find a way to insert it in my vocabulary.

I went to look up how to say bricolage because that is what the guys do here lots and lots when they are building things. A bit of this and a bit of that. My new word, cool.
Thanks for sharing my dear. Have a great day. God Bless!!
