Mentally crazy

I've been sitting here for the past 20 minutes trying to think of a clever title.

Still haven't.

Maybe it will come to me.

On the upside of things, maybe blogger will be nice now and format my posts the way I want it to...

We'll see.

So you want to hear my dilemma that I kind find amusing in an annoying sort of way?

I guess it's a good thing that you can't tell me no through a computer and I get to tell you anyway!!

Ha! So there!!!! ;)

Once upon a time...that is still occurring...I work with a wonderful lady from Mexico.

She's very nice.

Last year, it was her and a lady from the Philippines and I. Let's just say that was an interesting year. Funny stories for another day.

This year it's just me and the Mexican lady. (Please note, I am not being racist by calling her a Mexican...it's just easier.) Let's call her...Concepcion. :) Even though that's not even close to her real name.

So Concepcion doesn't speak English very well. And I have to have music in the background at my work to keep me going. Otherwise....well let's just say I would be climbing the walls in a matter of minutes.

Anyway, because Connie (we'll call her that for short) doesn't speak English very well, I feel bad listening to American music in front of her.

But, I also feel bad plugging in my headphones and listening to it that way.

So I play the smaller selection of Spanish music instead.

Did I mention it was small?

Especially compared to my other music selection...

It's like an ant compared to...the Eiffel Tower. That's how big.

I'd say there's probably about....70 songs on my iPod in Spanish...out of about 1,500 songs.

Because of that, we listen to the same songs over

And over

And over

And over again.

Gets a little repetitive.

So, at night or in the morning before I get to work, there is hardly a day that goes by that I don't have at least one of those songs stuck in my head.

Especially when I say prayers.

Cause I like to pray in Spanish.

And sometimes, something that I start to say will trigger a line from one of the songs.

And it's all downhill from there folks!!

It's gotten to the point where I don't even want her to come to work anymore because I don't want to listen to the stinkin' Spanish music!

*sigh* It's a problem.

I usually get over it by the time she gets to work...but sometimes not...

So, if by chance any of you have Spanish music or could suggest some to broaden my library, I would greatly appreciate it.

I must leave now, I have to go snuggle a little with Boyfriend so he doesn't think I hate him.

Speaking of which, he informed me that he thinks the picture I took looks like a piece of horse poop.

So....we will be taking another picture and posting it...or so he informed me.

Goodnight everyone!!!!

Does Connie even mind music in English? I think you should ask. Maybe she loves it and is secretly sick and tired of listening to your music sad Spanish collection day in and day out...Just sayin'. ;)

Sorry I have been gone. Blogger bugged, I've been too. Bit I came here and read "Connie" and burst out laughing!!! :D

No horse poop. But you can post another picture. I don't mind!

Noelle's comment: SO big-sisterly!

I think you should start playing instrumental music. Language no bar! How will that feel then?

Fingers crossed for next day of work!
