Quotage

"The first time I see a jogger smiling, I'll consider it."
-Joan Rivers

"The trouble about trying to make yourself stupider than you really are is that you very often succeed."
-C. S. Lewis

And, my quote for the week:

"What others think of us would be of little moment did it not, when known, so deeply tinge what we think of ourselves."
-Paul Valery

How true is that? We always let others opinions affect our opinion of ourselves when, really and quite frankly, they don't matter. That is something I need to work on.

Anyway, I need to go to bed. I have to go to work tomorrow...bleh.

Night!!

Yes, that 3rd one is very true. I do love Joan Rivers stance on jogging, too.

I am the very same way. I need to work on being more secure with myself, no matter what others think. I hate feeling so influenced by such nonsense, but I am.

Love your new blog look.

Wonderful quotes and also a wonderful way to think about things. It really doesn't matter what others think as long as you love you, you like yourself and you are happy with yourself. A long time ago, not soon enough though, I got to the point if you can't love me for me, then you're just not made for me. I can't change for anyone, I am me, I am happy with me, I love me and I even like me. My insides are at peace. My outside...well I'm working on that but still I'm happy.
I love your quotes and your new blog lay out. It is always such a pleasure to come and visit.
Take care and have a blessed afternoon. I'm off to try my Wii Fit my son bought me.
God Bless!!
