Protest

My blog and I are protesting.

What are we protesting you may ask?

Or maybe you mayn't...

But I'm telling you anyway.

The lack of commentage.

Yes.

Commentage.

If it weren't for Dazee and FJR

My blog would feel lonely.

Maybe tomorrow we'll rethink our decision.

We'll see.

Monday

It's been a Monday...

Very long...

Felt like I got a lot done at work

But at the same time it doesn't feel like I got anything done.

But I'm exhausted now.

And I'm mad at myself cause I didn't go to the gym.

But I was too tired.

Tonight I'm just going to post the video I tried to do last night.

I still can't get it to work through blogger

So I'll just post it through YouTube.

Hopefully it'll work.

Once upon a time Peach introduced this song to me.

And I fell in love with it.

And listened to it over and over and over and over and...

Well you get the picture.

Then eventually I kinda forgot about and haven't really thought about it

Until a couple of months ago a girl at work was talking about it

And then it was like a light bulb went off in my head.

Oh yeah!! I loved that song!!

So I came home and bought it cause I had NO idea where my CD was.

And I fell in love with it again.

And I listened to it over and over and over and over and...

Well you get the idea.

It became the song I listened to at work when I was stressed

Or ornery

Or just when I needed a breather.

Or when I needed a reminder that my life was not as bad as I thought it was.

When I had my oh woe is me-ish moments

This is what I listen to.

Among other things.

It always makes me cry.

Because it touches my heart.

(That, FJR, is one of the reasons I believe we cry when we're happy.

Something touches our heart.

Speaks to us.

Whether it be a song, a movie, something someone says...

Whatever the case may be.

My heart is a dangerous thing to touch...

It always leaves me crying)

And it always leaves me feeling like a better person.

It was written by a man named Kurt Bestor

Click here for the story behind the song and the lyrics.

And last, but certainly not least,

I hope you enjoy!!!!

(If the link of the video doesn't work, tell me and I'll fix it.)

Night!

Happy Sunday!

I have my weekly headache today.

Don't worry. :)

It's definitely Sunday!!

But it's been a nice day.

I have a story for you and then a video.

The other night Boyfriend told me he wanted more of my strawberry banana bread

So I told him I'd get some for him when he got home.

"NO!" He said "Do it now!"

But it's easier and better to cut it when you get here...

"But you can dress up in a cute dress and put a bow on the bread and give it to me when I get home!"

No way!! I hardly ever wear dresses/skirts!! (Only for church or special occasions)

No way was I going to put one on JUST to give him bread.

So he kept teasing me about it and I kept telling him no.

But afterwards I thought, hmmm...that would be funny actually.

So I waited until about 9:30 (he gets home at 10:00) and changed

I didn't do anything special with my hair, just left it in the messy ponytail

I just put on a skirt and a nice shirt

Left my slippers on

Put pink ribbon around the bread

And called it good.

10:00 came and went and no Boyfriend.

10:15 came and went...still no Boyfriend.

10:20 came and went...he txted me and told me he was still on a call...

10:30 came and went...nada.

10:40 came and went and he finally called me and told me he was on his way home.

I told him he owed me big time.

He asked why but I didn't tell him. Just said "just because."

He got home and I was standing at the bottom of the stairs as he walked down.

He looked at me and I shoved the bread at him and said "THIS is why you owe me big time"

"Ohh...I LOVE YOU!!!! Thank you!!!!"

"Hmph"

I had to give him a hard time about it after all. :)

So I told him to go find something to eat and that I was going to change.

Then later that night he gave me a foot massage!!

And that's big for him...

He HATES feet!!

It was nice. :)

*sigh* I was going to post a video....but the computer world hates me and it's not working.

I'll try again tomorrow.

Cars and ice cream

I just got home from work.

And I'm HUNGRY!!

But I can't eat...

Cause I don't know what Boyfriend wants to do for dinner

And he's still at work.

So, I figured I'd take the next best healthy alternative.

A mint chocolate chip fat boy! :D

See? Look at me being all healthy and stuff. :)

So I have another story for you!

Ready?

Set?

GO!

...

...

...I'm waiting...

Oh! I was supposed to tell YOU the story.

Silly me. :)

Okay, here I go.

Once a week Mr. Garbage Man comes and empties our garbage cans

So, once a week I know to be careful and not run into them as I leave the house in the morning

This is where I admit that I don't ALWAYS succeed.

Sometimes they're closer to the driveway than I'm used to.

And sometimes I just kind of forget.

But it's never really hurt my car.

It usually just pushes my mirror a little bit and that's it.

Well....a couple of months ago I forgot it was garbage day.

And I was in a hurry to get to work...

So I must have been driving a little faster than normal.

Anyway, I ran into the garbage can

Completely took me by surprise

And shattered my side mirror on the driver's side. -.-

It was not good...

Eventually I got it fixed, and I can now see again.

And I've been EXXXXTRA careful since then.

Well, today I was backing out

And Mr. Garbage Man had already come and got the garbage

And they NEVER put them back nicely.

I saw it when I pulled into the driveway...

But completely spaced it when I was backing out

Luckily I just hit it with my back bumper

But it scared me so bad I jumped!

And all Boyfriend did is laugh at me...the terd.

I was just so focused on making sure the person to my right wasn't going to walk behind me

That I completely didn't even think about it. *sigh*

Oh well, at least it didn't do any damage!

This afternoon when I got out of my car at work

I saw a mother duck and her little ducklings right behind her

Just making there way to our little river we have at work.

So I followed them and took a picture

It's not very good cause I only have my phone camera

But they were so cute!!!!

In other news...

TODAY WAS CONNIE'S LAST DAY!!!!!!!

:D

And I'm not excited.

And I may or may not have let out a little squeal of happiness when she shut the door...

So I told Boyfriend we had to celebrate tonight.

Don't know HOW we're going to...maybe just go get something to eat.

But we gotta do something!!

And with that, I better go get ready cause he's gonna be home soon.

I hope you all have a fabulous day/night/whatever you want to call it. :)

Be prepared for another story tomorrow!!!!

BYE BLOGGERS!!

Too many choices...

I have so many things I want to say to start off my blog...

Start #1: One of my followers, Joanne, saved me from having to hack into Peach's blog

And beg for a new follower.

You see, the number was at 19. And I'm a little bit obsessive compulsive

And happen to not like odd numbers...

So it was driving me crazy that it was at 19

And not at a happy, nice, even 20.

So I was planning on begging for someone to follow me.

Then she came along and did it without me begging. :D

Thanks Joanne!!

Start #2: I learned something about myself today.

I am my very. own. personal. radio.

I followed FJRs advice

And didn't listen to music today

(except in my car for the 2 minutes it takes to drive to work)

And there was always a song in my head.

All day.

I kind of like my radio, because there aren't as many commercials

And I play many different genres of music.

Spanish included.

So yeah.

Any of you want to tune into the radio in my head

Just let me know.

Start #3: Tomorrow is Connie's last day at work!!!!

And ummm....I'm not excited. At all.

Lest you think I hate her, I don't.

It just gets tiring being the only one that can communicate with her.

She's a very nice woman though.

Start #4: I didn't sleep very well last night...my tummy was upset.

So I'm very tired.

But I'm trying to not be so ornery.

Start #3 part b: Speaking of Connie, she almost gave me a heart attack today.

I almost thought she mixed 2 different varieties of the same plant...

And since we're growing them to sell...

That would be bad.

Cause we wouldn't be able to tell them apart for a VERY long time.

But not to worry.

She didn't.

Start #5: When I left my house this morning to go to work

my nephew was already outside working on one of his projects in the yard

(It was at about 9:00ish)

When I got home, he was still in the yard. :)

He amazes me with all of his energy!!

Start #6: Did you know you can feed the fish at the bottom of the blog?

It's true. Just click on the water. It's even more fun!

Start #7(the last one) : Since FJR is trying to figure out my family

I thought I'd introduce them to you

So be ready for a bombardment of pictures. (Yes. Bombardment)

Ready?

Okay...

Once upon a time, Papa Smurf and Mama Smurf fell in love and got married.

A few years down the road,

They had

Triplets
then twins

then my other sister (who was a twin but it was miscarried during the pregnancy)

then me

more specifically they are:

Becca, then Jared, then Noelle (the triplets)

Heather and Ben (the twins)

Tiffany

and me.

Everyone is married now but Becca and I.

There are 10 grandkids.

Oldest is 9, youngest is 2 months old.

The most recent family picture I have:

That was...almost 3 years ago. So two more husbands...

and 3 more grand kids. :)

So there you go!

That is my family in a nutshell. :)

I will end with a funny quote I read the other day.

(I don't remember it exactly, nor who said it...so sorry)

"It's really hard to conquer the world when you're supposed to be sleeping 8 hours every day"

Or something like that.

I tend to like my sleep...

So I guess it's a good thing I don't want to conquer the world. :)

Good night bloggers!! See you tomorrow!
